Spirit of the Orient was created in 2006 to serve as a local resource to people interested in Asian Cultural Items for their families and friends in the South Central Pennsylvania Market. We have now expanded many of our product offerings to the Web to reach a greater audience. Our Company features a wide variety of quality merchandise most of which is directly imported from China.

The owner has a deep respect for the Asian Culture and enjoys sharing her passion with others by showcasing traditional cultural items.

All items are personally selected by the owner and we pride ourselves in offering quality merchandise for your guaranteed satisfaction.

ABOUT THE OWNER:

The owner has traveled to China three times in the past 10 years. Two trips were to adopt her daughters who are now 10 and 7 years old. In 2003 the family returned to China to tour just a few of the highlights of this beautiful country.

CHARITABLE INITIATIVES:

We believe strongly in "giving back." A portion of the proceeds earned by Spirit of the Orient will be donated to support charitable initiatives in China.

In 2006 Spirit of the Orient sponsored the education of an orphan at the Xiangge School in Tibet through Angel Covers. To learn more see their website at "www.angelcovers.org."
