  
The beautiful interior design of each bottle is painted entirely by hand. The process takes several days and is performed by a highly skilled artist using extremely slender and finely- sharpened bamboo sticks. The bamboo stick is first dipped in ink and then inserted into the bottle - where the artist carefully outlines a design. Once the outline is complete, the artist begins the difficult process of slowly filling the colors. Although designs may be similar - each bottle is unique. In Asia, these delicate bottles are a very popular gift among couples - both young and old. Interior Glass Bottle painting originated in China over 300 years ago during the Qing Dynasty.
